FCAB lead ore train at Cumbre

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Three FCAB units GT22CU 2405, 2401 and GL26C 2005 haul a lead ore train from the San Cristobal mine in Bolivia to Mejillones, Chile. The train has just reached the summit (cumbre) of the small pass between Prat and Mejillones. Visible in the photo is the old wye, which was probably needed to turn around bank engines back when the railway was using 762mm gauge.
