•  Comment I read in the notes that this stump is consumed by many different organisms that, I believe, designed interesting textures on the wood. I wonder if taking a close up of selected parts of the wood would create some interesting artistic design, for example like this one [1] As i can see you are often walking in the woods and finding interesting stumps or consumed trees should be easy. Have you ever thought going macro instead of catching general photos? I am sure it would give you big satisfactions, as your fantasy could find hundreds of interesting subjects. In this particular photo I would have chosen a very shallow depth of field, leaving the background completely out of focus and avoided that grass in the foreground. With a very shallow dof the wood would be standing in the composition, as the background is not so much interesting.Paolobon140 (talk) 09:39, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
