Le musée d'art oriental de Venise possède l'une des collections les plus importantes au monde d'art japonais de la période Edo. Cette collection, de plus de 30.000 pièces, a été acquise par le prince Henri II de Bourbon, comte de Bardi, au cours de ses voyages en Asie, entre 1887 et 1889.
