Description
English: Baby L., white female, age 3 weeks. Entered Cook County Hospital on May 2, 1914. Poor nourished and "quite uncomfortable", no cyanosis or dyspnea. Weight 4 lbs. and 10 oz. Nothing of note apart from failure to gain weight until May 3, 1914, when cyanosis and dyspnea set in; died May 5th. Very high forehead with sloping vortex, Walnut-sized bony protuberance in the occipital region, temporal regions bulging out and downwards, "quite large" anterior fontanelle with open metopic suture. Posterior fontanelle and sagittal suture closed. Marked exophthalmos.
