Description

This photo shows one of our officers patrolling along a canal towpath in Birmingham.

Officers regularly conduct patrols and cycle patrols along canal towpaths to deter crime and anti-social behaviour.

There are hundreds of miles of canal across the West Midlands and it is our responsibility to ensure they are patrolled.

Officers also patrol towpaths in a bid to reduce mini-moto and off-road motorbike usage.
