Description
Deutsch: Notgeldschein der Stadt Köln von 1922. Dargestellt ist ein Mitglied der Karnevalsgesellschaft Rote Funken in der Uniform eines Kölner Stadtsoldaten, der eine Botschaft verliest, unterschrieben von Oberbürgermeister Konrad Adenauer, dem späteren Bundeskanzler. Maße: 100 mm x 60 mm.
English: Notgeld (German for "emergency money" or "necessity money"), issued by the city of Cologne, Germany, 1922. A member of the carnival guard Rote Funken in the uniform of a city soldier from Cologne who is reading out a message is depicted. Signed by Lord Mayor Konrad Adenauer, later the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Size: 100 mm x 60 mm.
