Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Teri’to’-o-terai Tere-moe-moe Pomare-vahine, Ari‘irahi of Huahine and Pare-Arue (1793-after 1827). Wife of King Pomare II of Tahiti. Regent for her son King Pomare III 1821 to 1827, second daughter of Tamatoa IV of Raiatea, along with her sister Teriitaria Ariipaea. This is from a montage of 25 small photographs and paintings of members of the Tahitian royal family, titled La Famille Royale de Tahiti, created by Madame Sophia Hoare in 1885, based upon an earlier engraving of the queen and her sister made by Ambroise Tardieu..
