A Ne.zv Hymn-book. 223 Brethren at German town in 1749, and ended his days intheir service. Heinrich Klackglasser succeeded AlexanderMack, the elder, as elder of the Germantown Brethren, butthe death of the patriarch so unsettled the members thatseventeen, both men and women, eventually joined theBeisselianer. At this period the hymn-book of the Ephrata congrega-tion was again enlarged.
