Summary

[edit]
Description

A graphical representation of 20 most populated places in Buldhana district. It is interesting to note that Buldana, the district headquarter is at 13th place and four of the current taluka headquarters (Sangrampur, Motala, Sindkhed Raja, and Lonar) are not in the list. Lonar is 21st and Sindkhed Raja is 24th; the other two are either not noted or not in the top-40. The population of Nandura noted here is a combined population of Nandura Town and Nandura Khurd village.

The source data is taken from the Buldana District Gazteer 1901, compiled and presented graphically with MS Excel, and rendered as an SVG with Inkscape.
