Description
Nederlands: De koepel van Louwman & Parqui, de Nederlandse importeur van Toyota en Lexus. De koepel, ook bekend als de "Toyota Dome", is ontworpen door de Amerikaanse architect Richard Buckminster Fuller. Door de bolvormige constructie is het gebouw zeer stevig, en zijn pilaren overbodig. Het gebouw is gevestigd op Steurweg 8, de foto is genomen vanaf de Maasdijk, Raamsdonksveer.
English: The dome of Louwman & Parqui, the Dutch importer of Toyota and Lexus. The dome, nicknamed the "Toyota Dome", was designed by American architect Richard Buckminster Fuller. Due to the spherical construction, the building is very sturdy, and doesn't need pillars for support. The building is located at Steurweg 8, the photo is taken from the Maasdijk, Raamsdonksveer.
