This is a picture of the ancient scripture, availed by the authority to be available to the public. And it's a camera shot from a Xerox copy. I think no copyright is needed because it's a public property now. Haoreima (talk) 04:22, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haoreima: you need to give more precise information and correct the files indication. Right now, you said you are the author and that the license is CC BY-SA, could you correct that? Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 12:58, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@VIGNERON: But I am completely new to Wikimedia Commons. Please advise me the procedure for how to input the file information! And, what is file indication? Please help me clarify my doubt! Haoreima (talk) 11:29, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima: yes Commons can be a bit complexe for newcomers. On File:Numit Kappa.jpg, you need to edit the page ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Numit_Kappa.jpg&action=edit ) and replace the info where I put ??? byt the real informations. I don't know this file, but I'm guessing that date is some century ago, source should be an URL to some website and author should probably be Unknown. @Haoreima: Could you please tell us that who is the author of the object? And when it was died? Without these two informations, {{PD-Art}} can't apply. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 21:28, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@VIGNERON and Liuxinyu970226: I found it. It's from the page no. 128-129 of a book called "The Meitheis", published in 1908 in India. But the artwork isn't the original of the writer. It was a photograph he put in his book (1908). Haoreima (talk) 15:53, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The author of the book is en:Thomas Callan Hodson. Haoreima (talk) 15:56, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Haoreima: thanks, I've updated the infos on the file page and I've closed the deletion request. All good now. Cheers, VIGNERON (talk) 16:10, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
