English: 1012 First Avenue, Seattle, Washington. Known variously as the Standard Block, the Struve Building and later the Meves Building; Landmarked as the Schoenfeld Building but now known again as the Standard Building, the first 3 floors were built in 1891, designed by Boone & Corner for real estate and interurban railroad developer Fred Sander. Mostly rebuilt in 1899 by tenant Louis Schoenfeld for his Standard Furniture Company, who occupied the entire building from 1896 to 1907. A sixth floor penthouse was added during renovations in the mid 2010s.

Much of this information can be found in the Seattle Department of Neigborhoods' Seattle Historical Sites database Summary for 1012 1st AVE / Parcel ID 0939000530, though they were apparently not aware of the 2-stage construction and that page dates from the era when the building still was known as the Schoenfeld Building and housed Central Loan.
