Banker and furniture maker, French of Argentinian origin, automobile enthusiast, J. Fernandez owned a large workshop in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-sur-Seine, near Longchamps, where he manufactured custom furniture and occasionally automobile bodies for the local distributor of Isotta-Fraschini and other Parisian distributors. He also had a showroom on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, near the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, directly opposite Kellner et Cie and just down the street from where the Hibbard & Darrin Coachwork was located. He bodied and sold cars from 1926 to 1931 before entering into partnership in 1932 with Howard Darrin who was abandoned by his partner Thomas Hibbard. Source
