Steps to participate

Following these steps will help you to participate in the campaign with ease.
  1. Add yourself to the participants list
  2. Watch this video about vector graphics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2thSkOa_Xg
  3. Watch this video about basics of Inkscape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppkN_ctR2kY
  4. [Important] Watch this video about translating SVG files and participating in this campaign:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5OOZMIq-8A
  5. Download and install Inkscape (from General resources section)
  6. Download and install required fonts (from Fonts section)
  7. Go to the images list of the language that want to translate to.
  8. Select an image from the list, and mark it with the following code: {{working}} ~~~~
    (Please note that if the status appears "working" for more than seven days (by signature), it'll be removed, and allow other users to work on it.)
  9. Video Tutorial: Point 3
  1. Download and translate the file
  2. Upload the file to Wikimedia Commons and tag it with required categories
  3. Create "Other versions" template and add it files as needed (optional, only if the template doesn't exist previously)
  4. Mark the file as done in the images list: {{done}} ~~~~
