Template:Imagebox

This is a wrapper around a "span" tag designed as a reference for image markup boxes. Its parameters are:

{{Imagebox| left | top | width | height | Category name }}

All coordinates refer to positions of the full image, not the thumbnail on the image page! "Category name" is, obviously, the name of the category. It must not contain the "Category:" prefix.

Note that this feature is in an early testing phase since 2007. To actually view the box, you must choose Gadgets / Maintenance tools / Image Boxes in your preferences.
