Law
[edit]is this --However, images depicting buildings during construction showing incomplete prominent exterior designs -- word written as per UAE law or international law..--KALARICKAN | My Interactions 09:33, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- I've borrowed this wording from the notice at the top of Category:Burj Khalifa, which as far as I'm aware reflects consensus on how to deal with FoP issues in the UAE. I don't know if this exact language came from actual law. CT Cooper · talk 11:39, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- Please see the Question number 5 & 6. UAE COPYRIGHT LAW
- As per 5, Any architectural drawings or plans are subject to copyright violation. and i cannot find an exemption for the incomplete structure --KALARICKAN | My Interactions 15:34, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- It is not that there is a blanket exemption for buildings under construction, it is that many buildings under construction do not meet the threshold of originality e.g. a picture showing just concrete. If a significant part of a building shown in the image meets the threshold of originality, then the image will still be deleted, even if the building is technically under construction.
