Just to let you know I've reverted your edit to the above in October, as (to quote the edit summary):
- query precision; "contemporary old maps" seems an oxymoron...?

- hallo, maybe "coeval" would be the right word.., but your "i.e. maps made over seventy (70) years ago" is better.. , greetings --W!B: 13:17, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
