I like this template! We should have thought about it much earlier. So obviously useful for tracking semi-translated templates, especially ones that get changed so that translations are partially outdated. --Slomox (talk) 13:35, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, May be you can help me with 2 issues I am still trying to fix and running out of ideas:
  1. Please Translate was meant to provide a link back to the subtemplate with the text that needs attention. for example {{Please Translate|text|Creator|pl}} (text) provides link to template:Creator/pl unfortunately this does not work when used in infoboxes, see for example Template:Painting/ar
  2. I do not know how to remove {{Please Translate}} and {{Please Translate/doc}} from Category:Internationalization templates with incorrect translations

@1: It works well, it's just that it's ... a selflink ;-) Like [[Template talk:Please Translate]]: Template talk:Please Translate. If you want a link you could use a link that points directly to the edit page: [{{fullurl:Template:{{{1|}}}/{{{2|}}}|action=edit}} {{{3|}}}].
@2: Usually templates use a parameter "demo" that is set to "1" if a template is used somewhere but only to illustrate the template without adding categories and stuff. --Slomox (talk) 16:12, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have added both. --Slomox (talk) 16:26, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks it is much better. --Jarekt (talk) 17:27, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
