Gioelecorradengo

Hi Gbawden. Can you take a look at the uploads of Gioelecorradengo? Should the files be DR-ed as copyvio (DW)? (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 08:56, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

@大诺史: Yes i think that would be the best approach. We definitely need the permission of the artist for these Gbawden (talk) 09:33, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
Alright. Thank you :) (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 10:15, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

--Masdggg (talk) 09:58, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Masdggg: I cannot understand your message but I think I know what its about. I apologise for the confusion on my part. The copyright tag at the bottom of the page confused me and I later saw the CC tag. Once again my apologies Gbawden (talk) 11:14, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

Why are you deleting my upload which occurred first and at least has some descriptive elements in the file name? My version also has a description which is not just the file name. I do not understand why the inferior and later duplicates are superseding the first instance. Cheers, --SVTCobra 13:34, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

@SVTCobra: Hi. I didn't delete them - they were processed as duplicates of files Gbawden (talk) 06:18, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
Yes, sorry, I also subsequently noticed the duplicates were of higher resolution (although lacking any description). I used UploadWizard's Flickr tool, and the other uploader said they used Flirk2Commons. Is the UploadWizard for some reason not grabbing the highest resolution available? (They were uploaded as an album). Cheers, --SVTCobra 06:23, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
I have no idea to be honest, never used it as I also generally use Flickr2Commons. You could ask at the Help Desk Gbawden (talk) 06:41, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

File to delete

I see that File:Ja Morant.jpg has been tagged for deletion since March 2019 by Ytoyoda, who linked it to the existing Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by S882019. You closed that discussion as "Delete" in April, but probably didn't realize that they intended to bundle it. Can you delete that file as well, or should it go through a formal discussion? Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 02:48, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Bagumba: Thanks for that. Yes I missed that - I have since deleted it. Thanks for alerting me Gbawden (talk) 06:12, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

BoNM of Madagascar

Hello! :)

Can you switch the titles of two images used on barnstar templates regarding Madagascar? BoNM - Madgascar Hires.png has a white background (all the other images of that kind don't) while BoNM - Madagascar Hires1.png doesn't (like it should). Can you switch their names? The "original" one should be the one without a background not vice versa. - Klein Muçi (talk) 14:17, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

On a similar topic, please take a look at the Freemasonry Barnstars. Three versions exist. Freemasonry Barnstar.jpg, Freemasonry Barnstar.svg and Freemasonry Barnstar.svg.png. The last one uploaded by me is the one that follows the standard of other similar images. Can something be made about them? - Klein Muçi (talk) 15:52, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't understand "FB MD" (facebook MD ?) and "exif" (?). — Yuriy V Dzyadyk (tc), 06:32, 29 August 2019 (UTC).
Hi @Dzyadyk: exif is file information stored for every photo and tells what shutter speed etc was used. In this case the exif had FB in it, indicating it was saved from Facebook. Saving photos from Facebook and uploading them is a common problem on commons Gbawden (talk) 06:37, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Deletion of Ned_Kelly_crucified.jpg

Hi, you recently deleted a photograph of street art that showed, among other pieces by anonymous street artists, a stencil of Ned Kelly. Why did you delete this specific image? What makes it different from, say, the plethora of images of Banksy pieces that are allowed on Commons? - HappyWaldo (talk) 15:06, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi @HappyWaldo: . COM:FOP Australia says Not OK for: paintings, drawings, engravings or photographs. That is a painting IMO so erring on the side of caution Gbawden (talk) 06:03, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I deleted this file for not having a license. It still does not have. Can you please make sure that a machine-readable license is added or delete it again? As you can see the file is in Category:Files with no machine-readable license. This category is the only instrument we have to detect files without a license. It has to be checked manually file by file every week. We cannot have this category polluted with files with unapproved hobby licenses. Yann is well aware that his supposed license cannot be used as a license as long as it is not machine-readable. Jcb (talk) 08:26, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Jcb: I thought it might have been something like that. I think I have fixed it - could you check? And wow there are a lot of items in Category:Unreviewed photos of GODL-India Gbawden (talk) 09:55, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Greetings: On Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by PADO - was that a partial close - or did the system perhaps stop in the middle? Best wishes! Ellin Beltz (talk) 15:07, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

Another user uploaded a different file with the same file name that you had previously deleted. [1] That file was too nominated by another user for deletion, but it pointed to the archive. I tried to fix the posting of the nomination but am not sure if I did that correctly. Can you check my work and fix if necessary? Morbidthoughts (talk) 04:58, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

eylem

Hi. You have deleted my image, ‪File:Headshot photo of singer Eylem 2019.jpg‬ I'm sure images like this would usually be a copyright violation but in this case, this image does belong to me, Eylem Kizil, the subject of the photo and the holder of the Instagram account you reference (and the Wikipedia entry https://tr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eylem_K%C4%B1z%C4%B1l). I have provided this image via commons licence as declared. Can you please undelete it or advise me how to annotate it so that when I request undeletion myself, through the system, it will not be deleted again? Many thanks, Eylem

A script to issue warnings

Is there any script or gadget to issue warnings to users? Sorry if I am bothering you, I don't know much about user scripts on Commons. Masum Reza📞 06:47, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Masumrezarock100: . Yes there is. There is Visual File Change and Ajax Quick Delete which are both available in Gadgets on the Preferences menu at the top of the screen. JeffG has written some code that acts as an add on to AjaxQuickDelete. You can get the code in my common.js file (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Gbawden/common.js) and copy it to yours (after enabling Ajax). This allows you to tag for some of the common issues. And the beauty is you can customise it based on stuff you tag regulary. For instance, I added an extra one for when I find the authors name in the Exif and its different to the uploader. Gbawden (talk) 06:52, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Hmm, thanks. I am already using Ajax Delete and your codes are very helpful. For some reason, I cannot find the Visual File Change gadget in my user preferences. But still copied it's configuration code anyway. May I ask a question if you don't mind. What is this Mediawiki:Commander.js script? Masum Reza📞 07:24, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
@Masumrezarock100: VisualFileChange is the last in the Maintenance tools list under gadgets. Do a search for visual and you should find it. VFC is really useful for batch tagging or even replacing text in hundreds of files. I haven't used Commons Commander yet so have no clue TBH Gbawden (talk) 07:31, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
Hmm. According to Help:VisualFileChange.js, only users with autopatrolled right can enable it via their preferences. Without autopatrolled, one needs to install this script manually to use it. I wonder why they placed this restriction. Anyone can use it if they install it via their user js files. Anyway, I installed it manually. It looks great. Thanks for all your help! :) Masum Reza📞 07:46, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your assistance. Pro lights (talk) 10:24, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

@Pro lights: Hi. A couple of these cannot be deleted as they are INUSE or were kept previously. If you are the owner of these images I would suggest requesting their removal via COM:OTRS. Please remember that a Creative Commons license cannot be revoked. Also, I have some concerns at the users involved in nominating these files for deletion. Do you have multiple accounts, such as Bubbasax? Gbawden (talk) 10:35, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
I am the owner and the subject of the photos and never authorized the uploading to this site. This was part of an attempt to doxx me. I successfully challenged the users legally and they allowed me to use their account to attempt to have the files deleted in an attempt to avoid litigation. Bubbasax (talk) 10:41, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
@Bubbasax: @Pro lights: Follow the OTRS process as mentioned - your request will be formally logged and attended to Gbawden (talk) 10:44, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
essentially, these were photos stolen from various websites and Facebook. No one had permission to upload them to wikimedia or Wikipedia. They are personal photos for posterity and viewing by friends and family. Bubbasax (talk) 10:49, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
these photos were stolen from Facebook and personal websites. The pence photo and the Flanders photo were never authorized to be used on Wikimedia or any other project/platform/website for that matter Bubbasax (talk) 10:57, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

@Bubbasax: Take a look at COM:OTRS - Send us an email (to commons-copyvio@wikimedia.org) with as much information as possible about the problem, including the URL of the file on Commons, the URL of the place it was originally uploaded. We will review your request and if we find the file was uploaded without proper permission, it will be marked for deletion. Gbawden (talk) 11:04, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

No FoP for non-artistic craftsmanship works in Australia?

Hi. I note you deleted a photograph I took and uploaded at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Boort RSL Clubrooms War Memorial Mural and Roll of Honour.JPG as per the nomination by @B dash: under the rationale "No FoP for non-artistic craftsmanship works in Australia".

Can you please explain what this means? What is a "non-artistic craftsmanship work" as opposed to an "artistic" work? I tried following the linked article Commons:Freedom of panorama and this didn't help me to understand why my photograph was unsuitable for this project. There are issues with the use of colour on that page which doesn't help me much either. What would be the difference between the deleted photograhs and the contents of Category:Silo art in Australia or Category:Rolls of honour in Australia.

I am not trying to be difficult, I just don't want to waste my time taking and uploading photographs that are not suitable for the project? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 02:46, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

@Mattinbgn: Hi. No worries. COM:FOP Australia says that "paintings, drawings, engravings or photographs" are not OK. Artistic works are stuff like ceramics that have been crafted. I had a look at some of the photos in Silo Art and a few of them would probably need to be deleted. In a twist on FOP, illegal graffiti is generally OK, art like on the side of the silo wouldn't be. Not sure if this helps. FWIW, a number of photos I contributed over the years fall foul of FOP Gbawden (talk) 05:59, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Duplicates

Hello, Gbawden. Thank you for redirecting duplicates, but I want to ask you to please take care and redirect to the oldest uploads, not to the most recent ones, like you did with the photographs in Category:2019-09-21 Kassel kohlefrei — CO2-Würfel (a category I created too). Not a big problem, because in the end it's the pictures that count, but it feels somehow unfair, especially since some or all of my – earlier – uploads are now deleted. Greetings, Eissink (talk) 11:27, 23 September 2019 (UTC).

Hi @Eissink: . I will watch out for this in future. When I process the duplicates they have been tagged by another user, who has identified the duplicate and tagged it. So its at that point we must try catch the error. Gbawden (talk) 11:30, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Photo of Mehrdad Pourzaki

Hi @Gbawden: , if a photographer takes a professional photograph of me for my Wikimedia profile, emails me the photograph, and I credit her on Commons, what else is there to do? I don't understand. --MPourzaki (WMF) (talk) 10:35, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi MPourzaki (WMF), it's always nice to see you. :) The thing is we can not verify that the photographer/copyrignt owner has permitted to upload the file under the given license. So we do this to counter copyrignt violations. I hope you understand. You said that permission has been sent to OTRS, so I have added an OTRS pending template, please consider adding the ticket number to help find volunteers the email. (talk page watcher) Masum Reza📞 10:20, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
Hey Masumrezarock100, thanks for the info, appreciated. You know it's difficult to get busy professional photographers to do this. I had asked her back in August and she told me she did (re: [Ticket#2019081410004376]), and the photograph was still deleted. I thought if this time I repost it and credit her properly it would be fine. I can't ask her to do the OTRS again for this, she's a busy professional and may regret having ever taken this photo of me :-/ --MPourzaki (WMF) (talk) 10:35, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi @MPourzaki: . Without that permission the photo will be deleted again, sorry. We have to have the photographers permission so that we can legally host it on Commons Gbawden (talk) 10:37, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
@MPourzaki (WMF): I understand that. I've asked one of the OTRS volunteers I know to take a look at the ticket. You may wish to join #wikimedia-otrs IRC channel on freenode and leave a message there with the ticket number. Masum Reza📞 10:46, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Possible LL

Hi Gbawden. There is a chance that Yohannshen's uploads are LL. Flickr uploads came from this account which was only created in September 2019. + I spotted this on a file, source claims to be from Weibo, no permission. In addition, the youtube file is attributed to NenehTrainer and the source seems to be the uploader's account. Any comments on how to deal with this? (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 15:17, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Comparing the upload dates of the files, it seems that the commons upload happens shortly (within the same day) after the file is made available on Flickr. (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 15:32, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
Agreed @大诺史: . Added them to the bad flickr list. Are there any photos that need to be deleted? Gbawden (talk) 05:55, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
Probably those from the flickr account? File:Jane Zhang 2018.jpg (has DR), File:Jane Zhang 2018 Jane's Secret Tour Nanjing Concert.jpg, File:Jane Zhang promotion of album "Past Progressive".jpg and File:Jane Zhang's signature.png. (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 06:31, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
@大诺史: Thanks for bringing this to my attention. This is a clear case of flickrwashing - I have deleted the obvious ones Gbawden (talk) 06:46, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
No problem :). For the youtube file, it seems weird that "NenehTrainer" is attributed when the source is the uploader's own account. (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 07:14, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

illegally deleted

These images are authors' original works on Flickr, the authors have legal copyrights and are partially licensed, and these authorizations are in full compliance with the rules of Wikimedia Commons. Deleting compliant content with subjective personal thoughts, I think this violates the platform rules of Wikimedia Commons, even if you are an administrator. Please find out to restore these images instead of malicious speculation. Thank. File:Jane Zhang 2018 Jane's Secret Tour Nanjing Concert.jpg, File:Jane Zhang promotion of album "Past Progressive".jpg and File:Jane Zhang's signature.png(Yohannshen (talk) 07:23, 27 September 2019 (UTC))

What I find it ridiculous is that the focus of your discussion is not whether the work itself is original or not, but it has always been aimed at some inexplicable problems. Even if it is a recently created account, the premise is that it conforms to the platform rules of Wikimedia resources and is original content and should not be deleted. And the principle problem is that if you think there is a problem with one of the documents, you can provide evidence to process the file. But in fact, you don't have evidence of other documents being non-compliant, and you can't abuse your authority with subjective ideas. Deleting multiple files directly is subjective and I feel it is illegal. (Yohannshen (talk))
Ask the administrator to follow the rules, not through subjective ideas, which makes it difficult to say that you are doing things fairly and fairly. Before that, I may have offended the user named @大诺史. Of course, he can deliberately embarrass me, but the premise is to provide all the evidence. Just like Youtube video, it is my original, is it because it is my original, it will be deleted? Those photos are also.(Yohannshen (talk))
@Yohannshen: You may request undeletion of these files at COM:UDR but I will strongly oppose it. These files were uploaded to flickr with the sole purpose of faking the license - what we call flickrwashing or License Laundering. Gbawden (talk) 09:59, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
@Gbawden: In addition to one of the photos is controversial, because it was uploaded in advance in weibo, but it does not mean that it is not original. Of course I agree with your handling of File:Jane Zhang 2018.jpg, but I don't agree with your handling of other photos. These images are original and there is no evidence that the license is forged. Of course, I don't want to get too entangled in this matter. To prevent this boring thing from happening again, I have started uploading the new original content directly to Wikimedia Commons. Thank you.(Yohannshen (talk) 10:29, 27 September 2019 (UTC))
In the end, I still need to repeatedly emphasize that I am not a pirate, nor an opportunistic person. If I really want to fake a license, I won't upload so few photos and choose some imperfect and even ugly photos. Thank you.(Yohannshen (talk) 10:47, 27 September 2019 (UTC))

Recent speedy

Could you explain in this DR why you speedied the file which is subject to an open DR and was in use on a Wikipedia project? Thanks -- (talk) 12:50, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi @: . The file appeared in Category:Personal files for speedy deletion along with a few others. I used VfC as a shortcut to delete instead of opening and checking every one. IMDB as a source

Just to be sure, you do know IMDB is basically a wiki, right? I'm not saying https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7943571/mediaviewer/rm2819838208 has to be wrong, but it's of no more value than Wikipedia as a source. Considering Whitevwins is a paid editor combined with the high resolution and EXIF (unlikely to be netcopyvio), perhaps they do have permission for File:Suzann Christine.jpg. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 09:54, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Regardless I agree that 1997kB shouldn't have moved the file in this state. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 09:55, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
@Alexis Jazz: I was just concerned that IMDB credits the photographer as William Harper but you're right, more than likely it is Whitevwins. Gbawden (talk) 10:05, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
I understand the concern, but I could've also uploaded that photo to IMDB with any byline I wanted. It's generally not the photographer who uploads photos to IMDB. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 10:10, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Why did you delete the photos I uploaded?

Why did you delete the photos I uploaded? They were from Norway's Parliament on Flicker and marked "Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0)." So, I was not violating the copyright by posting them here. Please undo the deletion. Arg Matey (talk) 10:44, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

@Arg Matey: Please see my comment on your undeletion request. NC-ND is not compatible with COM:L - all photos must be free for commercial use (so not NC) and should be free to modify (so not ND) Gbawden (talk) 11:30, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

Query

Hello Gbawden! I got this message saying the photo might violate the copyright. I asked permission from the person in the photo to post it and the photo was taken by him personally. How do I upload it again without violating copyright? Hope you can help! Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Metdumdum (talk • contribs) 17:33, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

@Metdumdum: Hi. The person who took the photograph needs to provide permission via the OTRS process before it can be hosted here, especially if it has been published on the internet previously like this one Gbawden (talk) 06:28, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello, can you revise this DR? After a quick check, several files are either PD-old (e.g. File:Lucantonio_Porzio.png) or the source has been indicated (e.g. File:Seconda_fase_campagna.png). Thanks --Ruthven (msg) 10:34, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Ruthven: . My bad. I have removed a number of files from the DR but left most. There are some maps without a source where the uploader is claiming own work which is clearly wrong. Gbawden (talk) 10:46, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Very well, thanks. I'll ask the uploader in Italian to fix the missing information, even if I think that certain maps are un the public domain (like File:Il Regno di Napoli verso la metà del Settecento.png is pd-old, becasue the title says that it's from the 18th century). Cheers --Ruthven (msg) 11:49, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

Hi Gbawden, after reading through the expressed restrictions of use for these images in the EXIF data, I think we cannot consider them to be free enough. --Túrelio (talk) 20:48, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

Deletion of a global account

Hi, I saw your question. In case you are wondering, deleting global accounts is not possible at the moment in Wikimedia wikis. But Stewards (and users with centralauth-unmerge) can unmerge that global account. It is also possible to hide/suppress the account from public view. Request to Upload File from Twitter for Pinky Maidasani

Hi, there is a Wikipedia article Pinky Maidasani on enwiki, its requested to Upload file from Twitter pinky maidasani (@PMaidasani): https://twitter.com/PMaidasani for fair use on Wikipedia article. Thanks JogiAsad (talk) 15:46, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

Hi @JogiAsad: You probably should have asked this on EN Wikipedia. The rules around fair use images of living people are different. If someone is still living then fair use images are generally not allowed and will be deleted in my experience. This is because it is still possible for someone to take a photo of them and release it under a free license Gbawden (talk) 05:59, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi, Thanks for your feedback. JogiAsad (talk) 08:04, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

Photos Deleted

Dear Gbawden,

I had a group of photos deleted here on Wikimedia Commons. The photos are my own work. I really think Wikimedia Commons is a great source for images on the web and as a photographer I'd love to contribute. I'm still learning the rules the best I can and understand completely that my images were deleted. Maybe I had the wrong license on them. Am I allowed to upload them again under the Public Domain license?

https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Actor_John_J._Quinlan_aka_Stoneface_in_October_2019.jpg&action=edit&redlink=1

Thank you,

Shtarka1 (talk) 14:43, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

Hi @Shtarka1: . Thanks for wanting to contribute. Its not that you had the wrong license - its that the photo was found on Instagram and thus there was doubt about ownership. If a photo has previously been published on the Internet we need confirmation of ownership via the COM:OTRS process. You will have to show that you took the photo and have the rights to release it. Hope this helps Gbawden (talk) 05:57, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

Oh OK thank you. I'm not sure how to do this. I appreciate you helping me. Is there a form? I'm sorry. Shtarka1 (talk) 11:17, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

@Shtarka1: There are some templates you can use for your email. I suggest that you read over the page at COM:OTRS - it is a very useful guide Gbawden (talk) 11:23, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

There are a bunch of different ones, I'm not sure which one applies exactly to my photos. If I know which one I can fill it out and email it back. I really appreciate your help. Shtarka1 (talk) 11:27, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

@Shtarka1: look at the template on COM:ET - there is also an Interactive generator you can try Gbawden (talk) 11:29, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

I will fill click the Interactive Release generator and take care of this soon. Thank you very much for taking the time to help me. Shtarka1 (talk) 11:38, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

It is not letting me add the images back as they were deleted before, seems like I have to add the images back before I can continue on the Interactive Release generator so I'm stuck in the middle and can't continue. If I'm doing this correctly. I added all the names of the images into the generator as instructed but I'm stuck now. Shtarka1 (talk) 15:49, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

Here is the direct link to the photos previous upload log that I'm trying to fill out OTRS process getting them reinstated with the Interactive Release generator : https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/upload&limit=100&user=Shtarka1&type=upload I'm not sure what to do. I appreciate your help very much Shtarka1 (talk) 15:54, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

I know all the information for each photo, like exact descriptions is on record with Commons. I'm not sure I even have all that saved. Any help would be appreciated, you've really been great. Thanks Shtarka1 (talk) 15:57, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

@Shtarka1: Sorry for the late reply. Can I ask that you post your issue to the Help Desk? They are better suited to assist you Gbawden (talk) 11:29, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

OK I will now thank you Shtarka1 (talk) 14:20, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

My own photos deleted

Dear Mr. Gbawden,

My name is Romain REVAL. I am a Car design expert and I follow with particular attention the Italian Car Design. I go to almost every motor show, included the Beijing and Shanghai ones, which are alternating themselves every 2 years.

You have removed 3 images which I have recently posted on the page of Mr. Carlo Bonzanigo, current Senior Vice President Design of Pininfarina (the famous italian car design house) affirming that” they are found elsewhere on the web and unlikely to be own work”.

I am referring to two pictures of 2 show cars designed in 2018 by Pininfarina for the Hong-Kong Brand Hybrid Kinetic, and presented at the Beijing Motor Show 2018 (the orange HK500 Sedan and the white HK 350 SUV). And to a picture of the KARMA Gt by Pininfarina, presented on the Karma Stand at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show, where I was personally attend.

I personally took these 3 pictures with my I-phone, so they are not hurting any copyright. I respectfully ask you to check the “Meta-Datas” contained in these pictures, and I am convinced you will be reassured.

Please be aware that pictures taken on a Motor Show stands with same phone lens, same background and same fixed lights, tend to be recognised by the “Google robot” as “identical”, but are often NOT.

The perfect example is my picture you have removed of the KARMA Gt by Pininfarina, which is very similar to the second one featured in the web article https://insideevs.com/news/346547/karma-gt-pininfarina-shanghai/, BUT IS NOT the SAME picture. The point of view is slightly rotated (see the different back ground).

I therefore kindly ask you to withdraw your prohibition and allow me to complete the page of Mr. Carlo Bonzanigo.

Waiting for your prompt feed-back, I thank you in advance and I remain at your disposal for any further information you may need.

With my best personal regards,

R.REVAL — Preceding unsigned comment added by Romain Reval (talk • contribs) 11:27, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

@Romain Reval: The easiest way to prove your ownership of photos is via the COM:OTRS process. They will in turn request deletion once your ownership of the photos has been established Gbawden (talk) 11:32, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

Dear Mr.Gbawden

I take contact with you again after having precisely followed the process you have suggested. I see no progresses in the clearing of the pictures, and I kindly ask you what is blocking. I kindly ask you to clear the pubblication of my own pictures, since I would like to complete the page of Mr. Carlo Bonzanigo. Waiting for your prompt aswer, I send you my best regards RR — Preceding unsigned comment added by Romain Reval (talk • contribs) 21:41, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

Reasons for keeping File:Blond slut undressing.jpg

Hi Gbawden,

Someone flagged the image File:Blond slut undressing.jpg to me recently as a potentially problematic image on Commons. Given the title (what little context there is), it may be revenge porn, and it's clearly taken in a private place by someone other than the subject. So I was surprised to see you support keeping based, it seems, solely on scope grounds. Could you elaborate? — Rhododendrites talk16:47, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

@Rhododendrites: I saw the comment on the DR about this possibly being revenge porn. To be honest that possibility didn't occur to me. These were tagged for speedy deletion as F10, but these aren't your typical selfie - I believed that it could be in scope for Category:Undressing women as this is a normal woman undressing. I'm not convinced this photo was taken without her knowledge, the photographer appears to have been standing quite close to her. But whether or not they are revenge porn I don't know. Gbawden (talk) 06:23, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
The DR I refer to is File:Sarah Elizabeth Windsor showing her breasts.png Gbawden (talk) 06:25, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
Thanks. I've left some comments there. — Rhododendrites talk13:52, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
