Your striped grass mouse

[edit]

Hi Tino. I am working on an article about the Lemniscomys striatus at English Wikipedia. At the moment, it's in my sandbox, but as soon as I feel it's good enough, I'm going to move it to Typical Striped Grass Mouse. I love your photo of the mouse, but when it's in a small size, inside a taxobox, the mouse is so tiny that you can hardly see him. I saved your image to my computer, and removed a little bit from the top, bottom, right, and left. That means that if the picture is the same size, the mouse is much bigger. I uploaded the new version. I hope you don't mind, and hope you don't think it was rude of me not to ask you first. Your version is still in the history, and if you have a reason for preferring the mouse to be very small, but to keep the surroundings, it's possible for you to revert back to your version. I'm hoping to start the article Lemniscomys striatus at French Wikipedia as well. I've already been working on the English article Barbary Striped Grass Mouse, as I took a photo of that species recently, while on holiday in Frankfurt. I must admit, though, that my photo isn't as good as yours. Cheers. ElinorD 13:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its not necessary to excuse for your changes. And you are right, without the margins the picture fits better into a taxobox. Its a wiki, so feel free to enhance my work ;) --Tino 21:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. :) ElinorD 03:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fischer —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.160.2.30 (talk • contribs) 19:14, 18. Feb. 2010 (UTC)

Gruss, -- Tino (talk) 23:34, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
