關於銅鏡

[edit]

--Inhorw (talk) 01:53, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Alexander Tamanian.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Original Barnstar
I thought 💭 that I placed one here months ago, well for importing all those images from Jean-Michel Moullec with Flickr2Commons, those images were the inspiration for more than half of the Wikipedia articles I wrote last year, and without them I couldn't find his other images of coins to import either. This message is probably way too long for a barnstar, but you've earned it. Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (Talk 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 04:32, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Chinese Numismatic Charms Museum in Haikuo, Hainan

[edit]

Hello Baomi,

Apparently there is a Chinese Numismatic Charms Museum, do you think that if you have the time that you could contact them and ask them to donate images of their immense collection to Wikimedia Commons? I am currently working on mapping literally every Chinese numismatic charm on Wikipedia and the images are quite rare, as you're fluent in using Simplified Chinese characters maybe a letter from you would be a bit more convincing. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 19:41, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Etnografiska Museet

[edit]

Hello Baomi,

Some time ago I made a long list of images of Chinese cash coins with a free license from the Etnografiska Museet, I don't think that I'll find the time to import all of them, do you think that you might? I made the category Coins of China in the Etnografiska Museet specifically for them but other projects have distracted me. If you're too busy yourself I could understand but if you're interested you could use the list. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 03:26, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding categories in Flickr2Commons

[edit]

You can add categories by writing "[[Category:CATEGORY NAME]]" rather than just "Category:CATEGORY NAME", otherwise the images won't be added to any category. I made this mistake too when I first used the tool. If you need any more help then feel free to ping me or ask at the help desk. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 22:34, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Chairman Mao Zedong (9871024665).jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!

Editing

[edit]

Please check if you can edit Wikimedia Commons now, so I will know if I should ask for the IP block exempt right to be removed or ask an admin on the English-language Wikipedia to also grant it to you there. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 12:13, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CptViraj: You can remove the IP-block exempt right, it didn't work. Baomi can't edit here because of the Great Firewall of China, I thought that this might work but it didn't. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 07:16, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder

[edit]

Hi Baomi. I noticed that you've made malformed deletion requests. Here, {{Delete}} is not for speedy deletion, please see COM:DP. When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template (rather than the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests), you must follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion (or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually policy or the "By hand" portion of COM:CFD#Starting requests, normally collapsed), otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 23:06, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
