File:Hypothetical Election Map.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Georgia and Tennessee US House of Representatives map requests[edit]

Hi Gordfather69, I wanted to thank you for the maps you have been creating in the aftermath of the 2022 midterm elections. I wanted to ask if you could create a US House map breakdowns by state for Georgia and Tennessee, two states where redistricting changed the composition of the state delegations? I saw what a great job you did on the North Carolina map, so I was hoping you could use that same style for these two states. Thanks for your contributions! Count Awesome (talk) 17:18, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing, I'll finish the rest of the south today Gordfather69 (talk) 17:26, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, the maps look great! Count Awesome (talk) 19:23, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:LisaCanoBurkhead-Lt Gov0M4A2769 RETOUCHED (1).jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. 2022 Arizona and Oregon House map requests[edit]

Hi Gordfather69! Thank you so much for making the Tennessee and Georgia US House election maps. Would you be able to create state maps of the US House elections in Arizona and Oregon? I appreciate your hard work! Count Awesome (talk) 23:49, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, I haven't been as active but I'll finish out all house maps that need to be made Gordfather69 (talk) 00:58, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The maps look great. Thank you! Count Awesome (talk) 04:06, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2022 Texas gubernatorial map request[edit]

Hi Gordfather69! I am sorry to bother you so soon, but I was wondering if you could create a map for the 2022 gubernatorial election in Texas? I really like this new style of maps that has been done for statewide races, and I would love to see it done for Texas. I appreciate your contributions! Count Awesome (talk) 15:11, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Funny you mention it, I have a working draft for that election, just need to double check it before uploading Gordfather69 (talk) 17:06, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The map looks awesome. Thanks! Count Awesome (talk) 15:02, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2022 US House map in Texas fix request[edit]

File:///2022TXUSHouse.svg

Hi Gordfather69, I was wondering if you could edit the map of the 2022 US House election in Texas so that it accurately reflects the state’s coastal boundaries. This map does not show Galveston Bay in the Houston area or the barrier islands around Corpus Christi like other maps, including the gubernatorial you made do. Would there be any way you could edit this map? Sorry to bug you with requests. I just don’t have the software or the know how, or I’d love to fix these myself. Appreciate all you do! 2022 Montana and Mississippi House map requests[edit]

Hi Gordfather69, I wanted to ask if you would be able to create maps for the 2022 US House races that occurred in Montana and Mississippi. These two states appear to be the final two from the last cycle that do not have a map. I appreciate all of your contributions, and I would like to say that your formatting on the state maps you have been making is excellent. Thanks! 2600:6C5C:6000:EEE1:201D:C94:D774:C13F 04:18, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

historically accurate maps[edit]

hey @Gordfather69 i would hold back on making anymore virginia pre 2013 maps due to the fact that there are no accurate county and independent city boundaries for virginia in the standardized style yet. Before 2013 Bedford county had it's own independent city. I am trying to find someone who could add that in and also make historical maps for colorado before broomfield county was included like they did for Arizona https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Historic_standardized_SVG_county_maps_of_Arizona I also couldn't make anymore Colorado maps before the year 2000 due to this/ let me know if you can find anybody who can do this correctly so we can start coloring them in Putitonamap98 (talk) 01:01, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Who made the new standardized maps? Gordfather69 (talk) 04:26, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Gordfather69 MisterElection2001 who modified the Arizona maps, told me the creator is Awmcphee, I have left a message on their talk page but have not gotten a respond yet. Putitonamap98 (talk) 18:20, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

primary maps[edit]

@Gordfather69 if you are going to change the colors for the primary maps remember to also update the legend colors in the articles. Putitonamap98 (talk) 05:03, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Maps[edit]

Hey @Gordfather69 I appreciate you updating the maps but can you make sure all the county results are correct first before you upload them? You got another county wrong on https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Arkansas_Presidential_Election_Results_1992.svg Bush recieved 40 percent in Benton county 186.0.85.0 13:45, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Gordfather69 thank you again for updating the maps but remember man you really need to double check your work before you upload a new version, you made another mistake on https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Missouri_Presidential_Election_Results_1996.svg
livingston county, missouri. I already fixed it but please remember to look every time and try not to rush through them too fast. Putitonamap98 (talk) 01:30, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 00:31, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, looking foward to keeping up the good work Gordfather69 (talk) 00:37, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

District 25 is colored blue when it should be red, as Republican Mike Garcia had won the special election to that district earlier and also won it in the general. Alexschmidt711 (talk) 23:41, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
