-- Bryan (talk to me) 18:41, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Brian,

I'm a little concerned about the growing trend some pictures I've posted on wikipedia are nominated for deletion. I'm owning the full right to publish them : I'm the author of those pictures and my editor (J Wiley/ ISTE) allowed me to publish them. Moreover, these pictures have been (for most of them), already reused with permission of the author, in many universities works around the world.

Pictures are the following :

  • Kanban_principles.jpg (nominated for deletion)
  • Evolution ordinateur.jpg
  • RoadmapNanoInfo2020.jpg

Thanks for having a look on this issue.

With Kind Regards JBW

if you have any doubt, please email me. I will return you the complete evidence I'm the authentic author.

(Later)

Dear Brian,

I think everythings seems to be ok with the pictures I have mentionned above. Are these pictures duplcations ? anyway, Ifound the articles with the pictures still here although I've got this curious email this evening : "Dear Jbw,

[edit]

Bonjour !

Bonne continuation ! Rama 13:31, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merci pour repondre Rama :) -- Bryan (talk to me) 13:36, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rama 19:00, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

droits concernant MON image RoadmapNanoInfo2020.jpg

[edit]

{{no license|month=January|day=27|year=2007}}

A bientôt JBW

Presque OK, je crois que vous avez oublié Image:RoadmapNanoInfo2020.jpg. Mais nous y sommes presque, en effet.

File:Kanban_principles.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Dear Ash,

I'm glad to see your interest in requestion the deletion of all the picture I've posted. I'm the author of all these pictures. I've also asserted that I am the creator and/or sole owner of the exclusive copyright. I've wrote you last week the reason Wiley and myself decided to let the banner with the work on the picture (to avoid some unfair copy of the picture).

I do not want to argue more. Should you consider wikipedia will gain in removing content (considered as relevant by business community and universities), so just continue your work this way. Regards--Jbw (talk) 14:10, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The procedure at COM:OTRS is there to protect the interests of authors. If you have not followed that process then these images should be removed for the reason that you have not provided evidence that you are who you claim to be.—Ash (talk) 14:37, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am the author of the picture published with J Wiley (1990). I followed the full permissions-commonswikimedia.org procedure : (send from my personal email to Permissions - Wikimedia Commons, 11/01/2009 11:20 (reply from Joe Daly 11/13/2009 23:33) - cf. extract hereafter - removed the personal details)

Okay, I've added {{Otrs pending}} to these images which should get follow-up from an appropriate admin.—Ash (talk) 14:09, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently this hasn't been resolved due to a technicality. Please respond at our open discussion at Commons:OTRS/Noticeboard#File:Computer_Integrated_Manufacturing_control_system.jpg. Thanks! Wizard191 (talk) 22:57, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here I'm am. As a already wrote I am the author of these picture published with my full authorization and with the permission of my editors (ISTE and Wiley). The process about parameters to ste is more and more difficult to follow (much to complex). So please if you need a new formal authorization, please contact me on my permsonnal email, I would send you back a new formal authorization so you could may be adjust your complex and sensitive form. regards--Jbw (talk) 08:33, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Files you uploaded may be deleted

[edit]

The files listed below, which you uploaded, have been tagged {{OTRS pending}} for more than 30 days. This tag indicates that an email setting out permission to use the file was sent to the OTRS team. Unfortunately, we cannot find any record that such an email has been received, and accordingly the file remains without permission. Unless the OTRS team receives evidence that permission has been granted within 15 days of today's date, the file will be deleted. If you have already sent the permission, please re-send it to "permissions-commons@wikimedia.org" now. Please quote the file name in your email. At the same time, please leave a message at the OTRS noticeboard so that a volunteer can follow this up. Alternatively, you can contact an OTRS volunteer directly.
