We do this because Commons is a shared media repository. Downstream wikis have different policies based on local laws. Uses that are acceptable under US law, for example, may not be acceptable in many other countries with more restrictive rules.

In addition, fair use is not compatible with our aim as a collection of freely distributable media files.

Hello Nirinsanity.

You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful.

This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions.

Hi! Its nice that you are updating the subject image regularly. I would also request you to keep text information in description also updated along with the image. I have done that now. But please keep updating it from next time. @Wykx: also.
Also, can India be coloured in a completely different colour to contrast well? In next 3 years Modi would travel more and then the darkest blue would be different to distinguish from India. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 06:41, 10 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Does the TN government come under the INC coalition or none?

[edit]

Hello Nirinsanity, You state that the TN govt does not come under the INC coalition. I am sorry to say this but it does, let me explain. Before the election DMK and INC had seat-sharing talks. To decide which party contest in which seats. INC wanted 25 but DMK wanted iNC to have 18. But in the ending INC won and got 25 seats to contest in. Let me ask you a question if DMK-INC were not in a coalition why did they even have seat-sharing talks, INC could have contested in how many ever seats they wanted but why did they choose 25. Why did DMK not contest in seats that INC was contesting in and vice versa. The reason is that they are in a coalition. These scenarios only happen when parties are in a coalition. In this case, DMK is at UPA national level and for Puducherry and is in SPA for Tamil Nadu. For UPA it is run by INC and DMK is a junior party and for SPA it is run by DMK with INC as a junior party. And just because there are no ministries from INC in Stalin 1, does not mean they are not in a coalition. This is a CM choice and he wanted his party members to get it. That's it. In conclusion, the TN government is a coalition between 5 parties - DMK, INC, VCK, CPI, CPI(M). And it comes under light blue/ Coalition with INC. SO please stop changing it to none, and changing facts.

Stop your edit warring at once. If you want a change, discuss on the talk page. DMK and INC fought the election in seat sharing alliance and INC is part of the ruling government, just like it is in Jharkhand and Bihar. Dhruv edits (talk) 20:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
