A query
[edit]Hello ValentynNefedov (WMUA)! I have a question for you about Ukraine's editathon. I am creating suggested articles in other wikis. But sometimes, I improve wikidata items for those Wikipedia articles which I don't touch. Does contributing to such wikidata items ok for the contest? I mean will I get points for improving wikidata items whose corresponding Wikipedia articles I don't touch? Haoreima (talk) 12:05, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, @Haoreima: ! Yes, you will get points for improving any wikidata items within the scope of project. Even if you do not edit the article itself.--ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 14:45, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Does that include wikidata items of non suggested articles but related to Ukrainian culture? Haoreima (talk) 14:47, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Yes.--ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 14:57, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hello ValentynNefedov (WMUA)! I have completed improving all of the wikidata items listed in meta:Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month 2022/List as well as meta:Wikimedia CEE Spring 2022/Structure/Ukraine/Extended/Culture. I have heard that 1 wikidata item improvement carries 1 point each. Do I still need to relist all the wikidata items in my contribution list? Or, is it ok even if I say "all the wikidata items given in all the 2 meta pages of lists (bonus article list + non-bonus article list)"? Another thing, how many points will I get for improving all these? Do I still need to count one by one? Or, is there any already-counted-on-number of the wikidata items included in the lists? Haoreima (talk) 11:53, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Haoreima I think I would be okay to "all the wikidata items given in all the 2 meta pages". I will manage to count the points ValentynNefedov (WMUA) (talk) 11:45, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- I did it. Thanks for your reply. Haoreima (talk) 13:04, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
