North Carolina Map

Hi how are you able to re add NC-03 to the map. Also why does the district disappear when I load it into illustrator? Do you know why? Wollers14 (talk) 00:43, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

I have a version of the file saved on my computer that still has NC-3 on it. As for why that particular district is disappearing for you in Illustrator, I unfortunately wouldn't be able to help you, as I use Inkscape to edit the map, and I haven't experienced any issues with polygons randomly disappearing with that software. still needing maps with historical boundaries drawn

hello prusbis hope you're doing well, i've been updating maps with the new v2 standardized shapes but i've been holding off on some due to the fact there are still no shape files that have the historical boundaries, for now could you make some for the following: Colorado: pre 1980 back to 1900s (i know they've changed very frequently lol so maybe just the most notable changes? due to more limited detailed on v2 so you don't have to worry about every little tiny detail) Washington pre 1970, idaho pre 1948, Nevada pre 1977, and if you could also redo the South Dakota pre 1983 map in the new v2 shapes that would be great: here is the maps to be modified to reflect these previous county boundaries, https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Standardized_SVG_county_maps_of_US_states, they should always be same dimensions, 810px width always here is a great reference to see all historical county boundaries, https://digital.newberry.org/ahcb/map/map.html#SD this would be much appreciated, you don't have to color in every single map i can do that, i just need the base maps, if you could upload them to this category on commons that would be great https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Historic_standardized_SVG_county_maps_of_US_states Putitonamap98 (talk) 03:29, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

i've seen them i appreciate the effort but i was needing them to be then same standard dimensions of 810px width and the height varies depending on state https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Standardized_SVG_county_maps_of_US_states

could you make them out of the already existing standardized v2 shapes please? Trying to keep things consistent. No rush just need them to be the same, doesn't have to be overly detailed and shouldn't exceed 200gb or 1MB, that way you don't have to worry about every little single detail that you wouldn't see otherwise unless you really zoomed in so you don't have to make as many maps, ping me when you got them and i will get started have a good day Putitonamap98 (talk) 18:08, 24 March 2024 (UTC)

ICPSR

How do you download the data from https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/web/ICPSR/studies/1/datadocumentation I just get 3 txt files and 2 html files. I dont get a sas or spss file. JosephBobilly (talk) 02:04, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
